Great Bridge, VA, is a stop that we eagerly anticipate. One of our favorite Mexican restaurants is there so soon's we were secured to the wall, we made a bee-line for El Toro Loco!!! It was as good as we remembered. We ran some errands picking up some items we needed---retail is pretty good in that little town. Got in a couple run, a long over-due hair cut, and enjoyed visiting with new cruisers as well and chatting with those we'd met before. As a cruiser, you can always count on a gathering of some sort at day's end.
Judy and Curt, sailing friends, live on a wide and sweeping waterfront lot on Mill Creek, Solomon's Island, MD. They offered their dock to us, as well as their companionship. Catching up was a treat as we also enjoyed their hospitality and an evening at their yacht club.
Another great stop was Elinor and Tom's home and dock on the Severn River. They're also sailors. Tom was our cycling guru in Marathon so he took us on a wonderful ride through Severn and along a Rails to Trails path. They are perched upon a hill with a magnificent view to the west.
There is much more to show and tell for the month of May but we're now in NYC and having a blast. If life settles to mundane we'll write an addendum. Till then-
